Feathered graveyard visitors So many human visitors come into the Old Burying Ground that it is ranked as the most visited site in town. Among bird species, there are visitors too. Here are some that I’ve run into… Great-crested Flycatcher White-chinned Sparrow Eastern Phoebe Blue Bird Visiting Woodpeckers stop by occasionally to forage for insects and grubs on the ancient trees inside the walls of the Old Burying Ground. They “eat and run” so to speak.
